The National Federation of Independent Business Endorses Rob Wittman

America's leading small business association joins the US Chamber of Commerce in supporting local lawmaker

Adding to the growing chorus of support from small businesses for Congressman Rob Wittman, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) today endorsed Wittman for re-election in Virginia's First Congressional District. With a presence in all fifty sates, the NFIB is the leading small business association representing small and independent businesses in America.

"Your election is not only critical to the small business owners in your district, but also to protect free enterprise across America," said Lisa Goeas, Vice President of Political Affairs at NFIB. This announcement comes on the heels of another pro-business endorsement by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which announced its support for Wittman earlier this summer.

"I am pleased to receive the support of NFIB, which serves as the prominent voice of small and medium sized business in America," said Congressman Rob Wittman. "They play a pivotal role in defending the interests of the businesses that drive our economy, and this endorsement signals our joint commitment to protecting and promoting business as the solution to our economic recovery."

Since his election to Congress in 2007, Wittman has been a staunch advocate of smaller government and lower taxes, and has worked to rid government of the regulations that hinder business growth and restrict job creation.
